Tyne Tees Tournament Middlesbrough
This was the first competition that our younger skaters were able to enter and CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who took part and what a competition it was. Skating Edge Academy WON 2 trophies with 5 GOLD medals, 2 SILVER medals and the club show came 3rd taking 13 BRONZE medals. Well done everyone.
British Roller Skating Championships
The championships took place at Hayward’s Heath at the same time as the Olympics and taking part was an honour for us at Skating Edge Academy. Pat Hughes and Tracey Maun competed and skated excellently.
Congratulations to all skaters who took part in this years championships.
Also the skaters and Coach had photograph taken with the OLYMPIC TORCH… August 2012 12hr Charity Roller Skate 7.30a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
On Saturday 11th August 2012 Skating Edge Academy hosted a 12hr Charity Roller Skate and a good time was had by all even though there were some very sore feet at the end. Raffle Skating Edge Academy are raffling a Bush Stereo System with speakers and an iPod docking station (iPod not included). Tickets are available for £2 per ticket or 3 for £5 Please contact us if you want tickets but cannot make it to our sessions. We are willing to post them out to you….
